Regional New England ISP (Northnet Internet Services, Armidale NSW): local-call dial-up for Armidale, Inverell and Glen Innes from at least Dec 1996, plus user home pages, training and corporate services. Held two /24-scale 1997 allocations (NORTHNETINTERNE-AU). Absorbed by Chariot (northnet.com.au is a mail domain on Chariot netconnect's portal by Mar 2005; Whirlpool 2022: 'Chariot ... has owned Northnet for ages'). Do not confuse with other 'Northnet' ISPs (e.g. Far North QLD or US operators) (ACN 088 377 860). Two sibling Chariot Ltd acquisitions: cobweb-internet and technet-2000 (same ACN).
