Regional Victorian ISP that grew into a major national RSP and ASX-listed telecom group. Formed (Aussie Broadband Ltd, ACN 132 090 192) from the amalgamation of two 2003-era Gippsland broadband ISPs: Westvic Broadband Pty Ltd (ACN 106 835 947, Warrnambool; retail, trading as '.Aussie Broadband') and Wideband Networks Pty Ltd (ACN 097 649 851, Traralgon; wireless/ADSL retail ISP for East Gippsland; renamed Aussie Fibre Pty Ltd 2024, now the group's fibre/wholesale arm).
